1. About the program:
The Training/Internship Program offers you the opportunity to come to the United States to participate in a structured training/internship program with a U.S. company. The purpose of your program is professional development and cultural understanding.
2. Requirements:
1) Placement areas: Agriculture; Business; Finance; Retailing; Tourism; Hospitality; Marketing; Sales; Advertising; Consulting; Public Relations; Engineering; Logistics; Material Science; Fashion Design; Interior Design; Visual Arts; Architecture; Social Work; Computer Science.
2) Applicants should be between the ages of 19-34. Applicants over 34 will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
3) Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
TRAINEE: Must have graduated from a foreign post-secondary academic institution and have one year of work experience outside the U.S. OR have five years related work experience in their field outside the U.S.
INTERN: Must be attending an academic post-secondary institution outside the U.S. OR have graduated from a post-secondary academic institution outside the U.S. within 12 months of the program start date
3. Trainees and Interns can participate for the following durations:
TRAINEE: Up to 12 months (hospitality) or up to 18 months (all other fields)
INTERN: Up to 12 months
TRAINING AND INTERNSHIP POSITIONS: Hourly Wage 8-16USD depending on position.
